Description

These stair nosings provide a transition between flooring and risers and take the brunt of foot traffic on steps. While they add a beautiful finished look to stairways, the stair nosing improves staircase safety, helping to prevent slips and fall while using the stairs.

Install using contact cement (A408) or nails
Ideal for creating straight or slightly curved nosing
Available in 2 textures: oak grain, smooth maple
Paint or stain after installation
Will not rot or swell - moisture resistant
Polyurethane construction
Virtually no seams
For interior or exterior use
Ships in 12 ft. coil

All come in 12' lengths.

Construction Details:

Polyurethane material, strong and durable. Impervious to moisture, won't rot or swell. Designed for interior/exterior use.
Natural beige tone that can be painted or stained after installation.
Can be cut and fastened as real wood. Miter saws work well with trimming this material.
Can be fastened with construction or panel adhesive or resin epoxy glue (A406). Do not use wood glue. For best results sand the back of the molding for better glue adhesion.
If painting or staining is desired, it is recommended it be done after installation. For staining applications, gel or pigmented stains are recommended.
Resists moisture - will not swell or rot
Great for interior or exterior installations
