Description

MAPEI® Ultraflex™ LFT™ is a premium-grade, medium-bed and thin-set mortar that is polymer-enriched and designed for use with large format tiles. This non-sag tile mortar is ideal for use with large-format, heavy tile and stone in interior/exterior installations. Great for use in large tile installations on floors, walls, and countertop installations. Ideal for large format ceramic tile, porcelain tile, cultured stone, quarry tile, pavers, Saltillo tile, and most types of marble, granite, and natural stone

Construction Details:

  • Premium-grade large format tile mortar
  • Non-sag medium-bed (up to 3/4" thick) and thin-set mortar
  • For installation of large format and heavy tile and stone installations
  • Ideal for interior/exterior floor, wall, and countertop installations of large format and heavy tile
  • High performance and deformability - polymer-enriched formula
  • Great for interior and exterior commercial and residential installations on walls and floors in both dry and wet areas (see product data sheet below for more limitations).
  • For large tile installation of: ceramic tile, porcelain tile, cultured stone, quarry tile, pavers, Saltillo tile, and most types of marble, granite, and natural stone
  • Meets or exceeds ANSI A118.4 and ANSI A118.11 requirements
  • Install only in temperatures between 40°F and 95°F
  • Color: white or gray
  • It is recommended white mortar be used when installing light-colored stones and translucent marble
  • Not for use with moisture sensitive stone, agglomerate tiles or resin-backed tiles
  • Not for use on dimensionally unstable substrates like hardwood flooring, oriented strand board, substrates containing asbestos, or metal
  • Apply a suitable sealer before applying over gypsum-based patching or leveling substrates
  • Cleanup: While mortar is fresh clean tools and tile
  • Protect tile installation from traffic for 24 hours and heavy traffic for 7 days. Protect from frost and rain for 7 days.
  • Cure for 28 days before water immersion
