  • Vapor Bond Sealing Tape (4" x 180"), is a heavy duty, weather resistant tape often used to seam large panels of poly sheeting together.
  • Butyl Seal Tape ( 1.5" x 108'), 2-Sided Butyl Tape has an aggressive adhesive that sticks on contact. Use it to adhere plastic sheeting to porous surfaces like concrete, create a waterproof seal between panels of poly sheeting, and patch vapor barriers.
  • Christmas Tree Ratchet Fasteners for fastening liner/film to foundation walls, available in 100ct or 500 ct bags.

  Recommended Uses:

  • How To Measure Square Footage To Encapsulate A Crawl Space:

    • Measure and calculate the following:
      • Measure length of crawlspace
      • Measure width of crawlspace
      • Measure the height of the foundation walls, or as high up on the walls you are going to encapsulation
      • Calculate the perimeter Length of the entire space by adding length + width together and then multiplying by 2. (length + width) x 2.
      • Note: Most crawlspaces are less than 4' tall so using a 4' or 6' wide vapor barrier for the walls will keep the seams to a minimum.
    • Calculate Square Footage of the Floor: multiplying length x width
    • Calculate Wall Square Footage: Perimeter x Wall Height

Construction Details:

• 6 mil Black/White Crawl Space Liner/Barrier is designed simply to keep moisture and gases from entering the crawl space. Not recommended for areas where there will be any activity. Soil compatibility: clay, sand, dirt, mud without rocks or sharp objects
• 6 mil and 10 mil Clear Reinforced Crawl Space Liners/Barriers: work great on foundation walls and grounds where there will be no activity. The 10 mil, DS10HUV liner contains high concentrations of UV inhibitors and thermal stabilizers to enhance outdoor life. Soil compatibility: clay, sand, dirt, mud without rocks or sharp objects
• 10 mil Bright White non-reinforced class 1 and class A: Provides a perfect professional look. Also works well on foundation walls and grounds where there will be no activity, however not reinforced. Perfect for medium traffic and light storage. High performance features low permeability, excellent tensile strength and strong puncture resistance
• 8 and 12 mil Black/White Crawl Space Liner/Barrier: the 8 mil black/white liner is often used on walls and the 12 mil or 20 mil white liner is often used on floors. When barriers are installed on the walls and floors in this manner it provides great protection to use the crawl space as a root cellar or for storage. Soil compatibility: clay, sand, dirt, mud, rocky soil or soil with tree roots and slightly larger rocks
• 12 mil Antimicrobial Crawl Space Liner/Barrier: 12 mil antimicrobial liner has antimicrobial additives to help prevent the growth of harmful bacteria, fungi, mold, mildew, and algae on or around the liner. It is non-toxic and environmentally safe. Great for use on the walls and the ground in crawl spaces, storage areas and root cellars. (Note: antimicrobial additive is not topically applied, it is mixed in the resin so it is non-migratory) Soil compatibility: clay, sand, dirt, mud, rocky soil or soil with tree roots and slightly larger rocks
• 20 mil White Crawl Space Liner: 20 mil white (on both sides) crawl space liner is the thickest liner with the highest puncture resistance rating in this offering. Great for commercial applications where a heavy-duty liner is required. Also safe for aquaponics applications. UV inhibitors and thermal stabilizers added for extended outdoor lifespan. Soil compatibility: clay, sand, dirt, mud, rocky soil or soil with tree roots, large rocks and broken concrete

Design Details:

Drainage Matting-Get an extra layer of moisture drainage and durability with Crawl Space Drainage Matting. Matting has built in dimples that align both vertically and horizontally to rapidly channel water from grade to footer drainage system. The stud shaped dimples provide an air chamber between the roll and its matting surface. Meets/exceeds ICC-AC114: acceptance criteria for rigid, polyethylene, below-grade, damp proofing and wall waterproofing material. Made from recycled content, so it's environmentally friendly too!
• High-density polyethylene (HDPE) construction provides strong resistance to hydrostatic pressure and excellent drainage.
