People ask why Koffler stocks the brands it does instead of everything on the market. The short answer is that these are the ones that keep performing long after the install crew leaves.

On my side, that means that wall base and corner guards from these brands are built to take a beating. For Cove Base, names like Johnsonite, Roppe, and Flexco cover everything from healthcare corridors to hotel lobbies, with deep color ranges and rubber that resists cracking and scuffing. For the corners, where the impact actually lands, CS Acrovyn, Inpro, and Koroseal hold up in hospitals, schools, and airports, in finishes from stainless to woodgrain.

Down at floor level the right choice depends on the room, from porcelain tile and rubber to luxury vinyl. When a job calls for LVT, I reach for Armstrong, Mannington, Shaw, and Johnsonite, each built with a commercial-grade wear layer that stands up to heavy traffic and rolling loads. A lot of them carry low-VOC and LEED credentials too.

Notice a couple of names on both our lists? That's the payoff of a coordinated system. Pick one brand like Johnsonite and the wall base, stair treads, and floor already match at every transition.

Fewer suppliers, colors that line up, and every piece rated for the traffic it will see. After 50 years, Koffler keeps the list short on purpose. If a brand is here, it has earned its place on the wall or the floor.

Brand FAQ

For more than 50 years, Koffler has sourced the brands that hold up in demanding commercial spaces, and the manufacturers featured here are the ones we trust to deliver. Below are a few of the questions we hear most often from contractors, architects, and facility managers choosing among them. If you don't see your question answered here, contact our team to talk through your project.

Can I mix products from different brands on the same project?

Yes, and most commercial projects do. For instance, a hospital corridor might use CS Acrovyn wall panels and corner guards because they meet healthcare cleanability standards. They might also use Johnsonite rubber wall base and stair treads and Inpro crash rails at gurney height. Each brand owns a different product zone, so they don't compete on the wall; they complement each other.
The two places mixing brands get tricky are color matching at transitions (where a Johnsonite wall base meets a CS Acrovyn panel, for example) and trim profile compatibility at intersections. We coordinate finish selections across brands during the quote stage so submittals match before anything ships. If you're working from a finish schedule already, send it over and we'll flag any compatibility issues before you order.

Do all brands Koffler sells provide architectural specs and CAD files?

The major brands featured here, including CS Acrovyn, Inpro, and Johnsonite, supply CSI three-part specifications, submittal documents, and CAD or BIM files for use in construction documents. Coverage varies by product line, so if you need a specific format (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp), let us know the SKU and we'll confirm what's available or request it from the manufacturer directly.

What are typical lead times for the brands Koffler carries?

Lead times depend on the product, finish, and quantity. Some products ship within days, while others may need to be produced and shipped with more lead time. We confirm exact lead times at the time of quote so you can plan around your construction schedule.

Why does Koffler Sales limit the brands it carries?

We carry the manufacturers we know perform in commercial environments and that our team can support after the sale. Stocking every brand on the market would dilute the depth of product knowledge, spec support, and inventory reliability our customers count on.
