Description

Schluter®- RONDEC STEP Stairs and Countertop Profiles in Anodized Aluminum are available in Satin, Brushed Chrome, Satin Nickel, and Brushed Nickel. RONDEC STEP finishing and edging profiles help protect tile edges from chipping and are designed for use with countertops and stairs with ceramic tile or dimension stone installations. Its symmetrically rounded edge profile with ¼" radius top matches the RONDEC profile. The vertical leg of the RONDEC STEP profile conceals the exposed edge of the sub-assembly. Great for residential applications.

Construction Details:

Protects tile edges against mechanical and impact stresses
Reveal creates symmetrically rounded edge with 1/4" radius which matches the RONDEC profile
For use on countertops or stairs not exposed to heavy traffic
Profiles designed for use with ceramic tile or dimension stone
Integrated joint spacer creates a defined joint cavity between the tile and the profile
Features a trapezoid-perforated anchoring leg which is secured in the mortar bond coat under the tile
Requires no special maintenance or care - just use common household cleaning agents. Oxidation films on aluminum may be removed with common polishing agent (but will form again). Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.
