We need a non-slip tread solution for north facing wood stairways in winter snow environment with sno-melt applied. Are A785 or A781 good for this situation and how long will they last?
Hi Suzanne, Thank you for your question. They are both great solutions. In fact, they both have been used for your type of application. I would recommend A781 slightly more, as they are used quite frequently in ski resorts. As for long lasting, we have customers that have them still in use over 20 years later. I am looking for something like these stair treads, but without the nosing. I will put them on an existing wooden ramp. The idea it they would be anti slip. An earlier version of this ramp has nonslip tape pieces applied, but then come off eventually as they get esposed to the weather. Thank you.

The stair tread installation recommended using GE silicone caulk for outside installations, They have a concrete & masonary Caulk is that the type of caulk u would requirement?
Hi Zack, Thank you for your question. We aren't quite sure what the compound is for the concrete and masonry caulk your speaking about. However, as long as it's silicone based it's fine. The main purpose is to keep the moisture out from seeping under the treads. Thank You, The Koffler Team
