Here are the approved substrates, Gypsum wallboard with paper intact • Water-based paint residue over gypsum wallboard • Gypsum or cement-based wall-patching compounds that are hard, durable, well-bonded and fully cured • Exterior-grade plywood, Group 1, CC type • Other approved wood underlayments (per manufacturer recommendations) • Fully cured masonry and concrete walls Here is a link to the adhesive.
