Can you apply this product to pool steps when they are dry.ie water drained out.

Hi, Does the HD Extreme Condition LavaGrip have a rubber like texture? Is it water proof?

This product is not rubber like, it's more like small pieces of Lava, and has incredible gripping capabilities which can be walked on bare foot (see top right image). Can this product be applied on pool steps underwater, after the pool has been filled? If not, do you have any suggestions for a product that would work in that situation. Thank you.

From the photo, I got the idea that this tape was a lot wider and longer. They are best suited for small narrow steps.Yet, they are thick tape strips(I bought 5), that seem heavy duty and have a very coarse coating.

This is a great product in every way but...The edges do not stick well and therefore need contact cement to hold them secure. For the premium price this item commands I was expecting to not have such an issue.
