Because this guard is available in a clear option, I think it will be the best choice for us. Is it possible to order a four-foot section pre-cut into two 21-inch lengths? I don’t the tools that I have access to right now will make a clean cut of this kind of material.
Thank you for your assistance.
Hi Wayne,
Thank you for your question. Yes, when you place your order please mention your request in the "Special Instructions" section. Also, feel free to call us.

i am looking for a flexible peel & stick corner cord...
Do you have any of those?
I only see rigid plastic on your website..
Hi Vinny,
Thank you for your question. Yes, please take a look at these, A616 https://kofflersales.com/p/inpro-flexible-corner-guards.asp?cid=2590

I am trying to close a gap between a glass shower door and the tile corner wall. The wall with the tile is not plumb for about a 3' section, with the bottom about 3/4" from the glass door and 3' up the wall the right size gap. Will this stick on tile, and is it waterproof?
Hi Rick,
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, it is not water proof and will have a difficult time staying on tile because of the moisture.
Thank you,
The Kofller Team
I think this is what I need. I refinished my countertops with a marble effect. Would the clear work on countertop edges? Also, for the peel and stick, are the adhesives clear on the economy clear strips?
Hi Sue,
Thank you for your question. Our corner guards have successfully been used by other customers on countertops, even though we don't recommend it. There is some tape backing that can be seen through the guard. If you'd like to go ahead with it, we would recommend using the Heavy Duty Corner Guards instead of the economy.
Thank you,
The Koffler Team
I need 2 protectors, but you don’t have the size (6’ 7”) that I need. Can these be cut to fit or can I order them custom fit? You’ve got the color I need, just not the length.
Thanks for any help you can offer, Piper Wirth
Hi,
Thank you for your question. Yes, these can be cut with an electric or hand saw.
Thank you,
The Koffler Team
What is the difference between the economy and the heavy duty?
I am guessing there are pre drilled holes on the nailed pieces?
Hi Christina,
Thank you for your question. The economy is a lighter and thinner gauge that uses nails and does not have pre-drilled holes and screws.
Thank you,
The Koffler Team
Is it possible to get some samples of your corner guards? We want to buy some but we are unsure what color (brown color family) or whether or not to go with the peel and stick or the pre-drilled/screws.
Hi Stephen,
Thank you for your question. Yes, we provide free samples. Please send your address along with your request to samples@kofflersales.com
Thank you,

Hi. I was looking at your corner guards as something to use for the back of a table top we have for our customers to use. It’s like a bar/counter where they can sit and wait for their car to be repaired. We have magazines and displays on the counter and sometimes things get pushed off the back of the counter. These would work perfect to mount to the back of the counter as a ledge to prevent things from falling off but our counter is thick and we would need the guard to be 4 or 5 or even 6 inches in height in order for it to work the way we want it to. Is it possible to get it custom made for the height we need or is 3 inches the max it is made? Thank you.
Hi Marie,
Thank you for you question. First off, that sounds like a really great idea. Unfortunately, we do not offer custom sizes and 3" would be our widest. Our Stainless Steel guards are available in 3-1/2", here is a link to that product, https://kofflersales.com/p/stainless-steel-corner-guards.asp?cid=56 Also, not the prettiest but this guard comes in 4" wings. https://kofflersales.com/p/heavy-duty-corner-guards.asp?cid=56
Thank you,

Hello, I am looking for black corner guards for my kitchen. I need to have them 2ft in length. Is that possible, I don't see any that I could purchase without having to cut myself.
Thank you
Gianna
Hi Gianna,
Thank you for your question. Sure, we can cut them. You can either call the order in to us or if you'd like to place it on line, purchase the 4ft. guards and specify in the Special Instructions of the shopping cart that you'd like them cut into 2ft. sections.
Thank you,
The Koffler Team
I'm confused about cutting this product. Your FAQs refer to cutting it with an electric saw or hacksaw with a fine-tooth blade, and one FAQ refers to cutting the "clear economical guard" with a utility knife. Yet two documents in the specifications tab ("Cut sheet colored corner guards" PDF and "Clear and smooth corner guard installation guide" PDF) clearly say polycarbonate is so tough that Koffler doesn't recommend cutting it "in the field." Which is it?
Hi Tom,
Thank you for your question. The instructions are a bit more conservative as we're trying to make sure that the inexperienced person who has little or no knowledge of using a saw doesn't attempt to cut the product and end up causing an accident. If you are experienced with saws, you can use a utility knife to cut the Economy guards (thinner material) and use a hacksaw or electric saw for the remainder of the guards.

Corner Guards Clear or Colored - #A673
I’m looking to purchase the self adhesive corner guards for temporary use. How easily will the adhesive come off in about a year?
Hi Mike,
Thank you for your question. These corner guards can be removed after a year. However, they may be adhesive residue left that can be remove with any adhesive remover. If they are installed over painted walls there may be some paint that comes off in the process.
Thank you,
The Koffler Team
I plan to use these to protect wall corners from a new puppy. I understand that the guards are not intended to be temporary. Do you think that blue painters tape would keep them in place until we are ready to remove? Thanks!
Hi Amy,
Thank you for your question. We have not had any experience with this type of application. The Painters tape should hold it in place. However, depending on how strong the dog is, will depend on weather it stays in place.
Thank you,
The Koffler Team
What is the inside measurement of each side on the 2x2 corner trim?
Hi Daniel,
Thank you for your question. The inside on both sides measures 1-7/8".
Thank you,
The Koffler Team
I was looking to purchase a corner guard. The measurements is that inside measurement or outside measurment?
Hi Daniel,
Thank you for your question. The measurements are from the outside.
Thank you,
The Koffler Team
Good morning! I am considering using a white 3"x3"x8' corner to cover a repair to a corner on my RV. I thought I would caulk, then do my own drilling, using my own screws. Would this product stand up to that exterior use? Do you have another recommendation? Thank you!
Hi Dan,
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, this product is not recommended for outdoor use. Here are a few links to products you can check out. http://kofflersales.com/p/stainless-steel-corner-guards.asp?cid=56 , http://kofflersales.com/p/diamond-plate-wall-corner-guards.asp?cid=56 , http://kofflersales.com/p/aluminum-corner-guards.asp?cid=56

I need to protect the wood foot rails on our bar stools. They have 90 degree corners and are 1” square. Do you think this product would meet my needs?
Hi Beth,
Thank you for your question. Actually, we've had several customers use our corner guards for this application and have been very happy with this solution.
Thank you,
The Koffler Team
Our caregivers occasionally run my husbands wheelchair into the wood door frames. The frames are painted...I would like to use the peel and stick guards. Would the frame get damaged when I remove them?
Hi Debbie,
Thank you for your question. We do sell quite a few corner guards for this exact application. The only damage the frames may receive when the corner guards are removed would be to the paint.
Thank you,
The Koffler Team
I recently purchased a black corner guard to protect a short portion of a wall corner from our cat. We chose the basic form with plans to screw it to the wall so it can be removed in the future. Meanwhile, a friend suggested we use a removable peel and stick tape. Can you recommend one? Thank you. Sue Z
Hi Susan,
Thank you for your question. The product that you were on which is A673 is a great solution, and it comes in a peel and stick option. However, they are not designed to be removable and replaced as it may take some of the finish off. If you want to be able to remove and replace then your best option is to choose them with holes and screws.
Thank you,
The Koffler Team
Hello, I was wondering if anyone uses the clear lexan product, for upholstery and furniture? Or is this primarily a product for dry wall?
Hi Judith,
Thank you for the question. We have had many customers use this product for other applications besides drywall, including furniture, countertops and desks. It's always a good idea to buy one just to make sure it fits your particular application.
Thank you,
The Koffler Team
Are there wholesalers or retailers in Michigan that sell black corner guards? I'd like see it first.

What adhesive product would you suggest to attach your A673 clear product to exterior concrete exposed to rain, etc.? This is a small project requiring only two 4' pieces of corner guard.
Hi Howard,
Thank you for your question. We do not reccomend this product for outside use. The adhesive we recommend for this product when used indoor is our product, A407. Here is the link, http://kofflersales.com/p/plastic-corner-guard-adhesive.asp

Hi, I am looking at the black 90 degree colored corner guard and I was looking to use the product with the back side facing out. I wanted to know if the whole product is colored or if it is only the front side. Thank you.
H i Tyler,
Thank you for your question. Yes, the whole product is colored including the backside. However, it doesn't look quite as finished as the front. We would recommend purchasing one guard and test it out to make sure it works nicely for you.
Thank you,
The Koffler Team
Can the corner guards be cut into smaller lengths? If so, with what would you recommend them to be cut with?
Hi Patricia,
Thank you for your question. Yes, these corner guards can be cut with an electric saw that has a fine tooth blade.
Thank you,
The Koffler Team
Do the Peel and Stick Corner guards work in the bathroom? I'd like to use them on the outside corner of my shower enclosure as the tile is chipping at the corner.
Hi Sharon,
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we would not recommend the Peel and Stick adhesive be exposed to water.
Thank you,
the Koffler Team
What is the best product to clean the corners of drywall with before installing the plastic peel & stick corner guards?
Hi Mary,
Thank you for your question. The wall surface should be clean, dry, and free from dust and grease. Please wipe the wall surface with a solvent to assure all grease, loose paint, dust, and dirt are removed. Also make sure that the cleaning solvent used will not damage the finish on the wall surface.
Thank you,
The Koffler Team
I ordered corner guards from you and they look great! I have one wall where I didn't measure correctly and need a 1.5 inch wide X 31 inch tall piece. Is there a way to cut the polycarbonate ivory piece (4200 SS #11100) so that it is shorter? If so, what tool would I use for cutting?
Thank you!
Hi Barbara,
Thank you for your question. Yes, you can cut the polycarbonate guard by using a Hack Saw with a fine tooth blade.
Thank you,
The Koffler Team
I am looking for clear plastic corner guards to protect my Living room furniture from male dogs marking territory. Would any of your guards work for this purpose? Are they a soft plastic that is pliable, or are they a hard plastic. I was looking at the 3" wide from corner angle at least.
Thanks
Hi Jannine,
Thank you for your question. They are hard plastic. Our soft vinyl corner guards are not available in clear. Please copy and paste this link to see our soft Vinyl guards as well, http://kofflersales.com/p/johnsonite-millwork-corner-guards.asp?cid=56

Will the peel and stick product adhere to textured walls? My walls do not have a smooth finish.
Hi Etheline,
Thank you for your question. We do recommend the surface to be smooth for achieving the best adhesion.

Is there any flexibility in #A673? My doorway is trimmed with what the carpenter called teardrop style molding, making the angle not a true 90".
Hi Becky,
Thank you for your question. This product is made from polycarbonate and is fairly rigid. Here is a link to a more flexible corner guard, http://kofflersales.com/p/inpro-flexible-corner-guards.asp?cid=56
Thank you,

Hi there - my puppy likes to chew on the corners of each wall in the house. Your product looks like it would be able to help with that issue, but we rent our apartment so I was wondering if they are easily able to be removed (for when our lease ends and we move out)? Thanks in advance.
Hi Karen,
Thank you for your question. As you may know this product will only protect the corners of walls. They can be removed, however they will leave holes (if you choose the option with holes and screws) or if you purchase self-stick tape or glue option there will be parts of the drywall removed when the guards are taken off as well as dried glue.
Thank you,
The Koffler Team

Hi John,
Thank you for your question. The 1.5" bullnose radius is 1/2".

Hi, I looking for a external rigid PVC corner angle 2" x 2" x 1/4" thick in white. It'll be used over my outside window wood trim. I appreciate the help. Thanks.
Hi Dan,
Thank you for your question. The only corner guards we carry that are exactly 1/4" thick is this product (profile VBG-XX-C). However it is only 1-1/4" x 1-1/4". Please copy and paste this link to to view it. http://kofflersales.com/p/johnsonite-millwork-corner-guards.asp?cid=56 For something close, please copy and paste this link, http://kofflersales.com/p/corner-guards-vinyl.asp?cid=56

I have poles in my basement that when finished they were encased in wood, so they are now square "pillars" the corners are getting banged up and I was wondering if the peel and stick would be an option to protect them from the kids, or if it would take the finish off of the wood when removed?
HI Deidra,
Thank you for your question. The peel and stick would be a great option. Sometimes there is a little residue left when the guards are removed. We always recommend testing a small area first.
Thank you,
The Koffler Team
I need one 8' corner guard to cover a corner where two different wallpapers meet. I do not want to use a clear plastic guard. I read in the FAQ, that the peel and stick guards are not suitable over wallpaper, however, I also cannot use screws or nails because the corner is reinforced with a lead like metal strip. Any suggestions?
Hi Donna Lee,
Thank you for your question. The only other suggestion would be a colored guard and use our corner guard adhesive.
Thank you,
The Koffler Team

I have kittens that have scratched the corners of our couch and chairs...Will the peel and stick corners adhere to fabric...If not what would you recommend?
Hi Vesta,
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the peel and stick backing will not work on fabric. The only other solution would be to buy the guards with holes and screws in order to screw the guards to the couch and chairs.
Thank you,
The Koffler Team
Will the peel & stick corner guards adhere to the corners of fabric covered workstations?
Hi John,
Thank you for your question. We would not recommend any peel and stick corner guards to be used on workstation fabric.
Thank you,
The Koffler Team

I have a puppy who been chewing up a corner of a door. We keep her in the kitchen when gone and she has gone down to the studs almost. We are wondering if once fixed will these hold up to a dog scratching and biting at them? And which product do you recommend? We are not looking at painting it. Also we know it will need to be screwed to the wall which is fine.
Thanks, Kirstie
Hi Kristie,
Thank you for your question. If you purchase the corner guards choose the option for holes and screws, and that should hold up well.
Thank you,
The Koffler Team

How much would special length of 10 ft be for #A673 Clear & Colored CornerGuards. Last year we ordered the 2½" x 2½" x 8' Beige Peel & Stick but woul like to come up higher on remaining walls - 5ft.
Hi Cathy,
We would have to check with our plant to see if they can run a custom length job. However they are closed today. What quantity are you looking for?
